Recreation Class Information
- MLK Day - MAC
- Regular MAC GX classes cancelled
- Special edition classes will run instead:
- 12:15 - 1:10 pm - "Athletic Levels" Step Interval Class -
Get a total body workout, including Cardio in this fun athletic
interval class! Students will alternate between higher and lower
benches while doing very simple cardio and muscle conditioning drills.
(Students may also choose to stay on higher or lower benches the entire
time). Cardio drills will be very basic and athletic in nature - no
choreography to learn. ANYONE can do this workout!
- 4:30-5:25 pm - QUAD Box Step You've mastered single
step, you've tried double step.... now go for QUAD Box Step! Quad Box
is an innovative mix of horizontal and vertical step. Starting with
basic moves on one bench, we build up to four benches for an amazing
cardio routine. If you love step, you've gotta try this class!

- 12:15 - 1PM Indoor Cycling "Hills & Bursts" with

- 3:30PM - 4:25PM "Pilates Props" with Cristina
- 4:30PM - 5:25PM Zumba with Tina
- Zumba combines high energy and
motivating music
with unique moves and combinations that allow the Zumba participants to
dance away their worries. It is based on the principle that a workout
should be "FUN AND EASY TO DO" allowing Zumba participants to stick to
the Zumba Fitness program and achieve long-term health benefits. Zumba
is a “feel-happy” workout that is great for both the body and the mind.
- 6PM - 7:25PM Stress Reduction Yoga with Larissa
- Mark your calendar for Spring Group Exercise Class Registration:
- Thursday 1/31, 4-6 pm at Hemenway &
- Friday 2/1, 11:30am-1:30pm at the MAC
- Classes will begin Feb. 4th and schedules will be posted
online by 1/22/08
- Specialty Classes will begin February 11th. These include Swing
Dance, Hip Hop, Balletone, Extreme Boot Camp, Swim Stroke improvement,
Ice Skating and more!
- Registration will begin 1/31 at Hemenway and 2/1 at the MAC.
Specialty brochures will be posted online by 1/25/08.
