Good afternoon Members,

I am pleased to inform all of you that the MAC Pool will re-open tomorrow morning (May 15^th ). I would like to thank each and every one of you for your patience over the past three weeks. I would also like to remind everyone that Blodgett Pool will be closed from May 15^th – July 13^th for renovations. If you have purchased an overnight locker at Blodgett Pool, please visit the MAC front desk to claim your temporary overnight locker.

In order for the Aquatics Staff to maintain the pool, we need your help by following these rules:

Ø It is a state regulation that all swimmers must take a cleansing shower before entering the pool. The lifeguard staff will be enforcing this regulation so please shower before entering the pool area.

Ø Personal belongings must be secured in the locker room. We installed new towel racks on deck but bags are no longer permitted on deck.

Ø In order to ensure the safety of our swimmers, the four middle lanes of the MAC will always require circle swimming. If you want to enter one of the outside lanes and it already has two swimmers, inform both swimmers that the lane is switching to circle swimming before entering the lane.
