PROGRAMS

NEW! Open Gym Floor Reservation Policies at Hemenway Gymnasium
Beginning today all open gym floor reservations for Volleyball, Badminton, Futsal and Basketball must be placed at the front desk of Hemenway Gymnasium.

Group Exercise

The Wednesday evening Hatha Yoga class (6:30-7:45pm) has been moved. This class will be held from 7:00-8:15pm on 1/13 and 1/20.

Harvard Trim & Fit & Harvard Slim Down are coming back this spring!
Harvard Trim & Fit Program Dates:

Harvard Slim Down Program Dates:
Mondays & Wednesdays 1:15-2:10pm
February 8th- April 26th 2010
No class February 15th, March 15th or March 17th
Registration is January 25th-February 3rd 2010. Logistics and additional information about how to register will be announced by January 22nd.

Team Fitness Challenge
TFC is back! Last year, over 400 people in the Harvard community participated the Team Fitness Challenge in valiant efforts to meet their fitness goals. Overwhelmingly, they did: we heard from team members that they lost weight, dropped pant sizes, developed healthy exercise habits, and gained strength and aerobic capacity. Round up a group of 6-8 participants and register your team this January. Registration is January 11th-27th and the challenge runs for 6 weeks beginning February 1st!

Yoga Workshops
Yoga workshops will be offered twice per month at Hemenway Gymnasium this spring. Each workshop will focus on a particular skill or style of yoga. Workshops are complimentary for facility members who have group exercise class access. Facility members who have not purchased group exercise class access may attend by paying the $10.00 drop-in fee at the front desk of Hemenway Gymnasium. Twenty-five class passes will be available 30 minutes prior to the start time of class on a first-come, first-serve basis. Strength Training Orientations
 Looking for an efficient workout? Sign up for a Strength Training Orientation! A Personal Trainer will lead each 45-minute group session will teach you how to use the weight machines in the express circuit, along with basic use of cardio machines. Each participant will receive a strength worksheet. There is a $5.00 fee for the orientation and pre-registration is required. Sign up at the front desk at least 24 hours in advance. Orientations with less than 3 participants enrolled with be canceled due to low enrollment.
