Hellenes of the Diaspora
In the framework of the "Hellenes of the Diaspora" special exhibition
the Thessaloniki Museum of Photography
will present the work of Dimitris Soulas, who worked as a reporter in
Munich during the Greek dictatorship
(1967 to 1974). Soulas' black and white photographs focus on
immigrants, the homeless and students who
used to hold rallies for peace. Set to begin on Saturday, January 12,
and scheduled to last until February 29, t
he event constitutes a co-production of the Fotomuseum im Muenchner
Stadtmuseum and the Photography
Museum of Thessaloniki, supported by the Goethe Institute in
Thessaloniki. It should also be noted that the
exhibition will travel to other European cities.
