Dr. Anna Kouremenos, Independent Scholar, New Haven, CT.
Summary:
“This paper focuses on the place the Romans hold in the modern Greek national narrative.
It brings together evidence from archaeological sites, museums, the media, and education
in order to show
how the country's Roman past has been displayed and taught to both Greeks and
foreigners.”
