Dear Colleagues,
It is with pleasure that my co-chair, Jennifer Mac Donald and I and our
task force members present you with the current draft of the report on core
competencies for your review and comments. The digressit site will be
available until November 1, 2015. We urge you to please share your
thoughts, comments, questions and concerns with us during this time.
Following that, we will be holding an open public hearing in Boston during
ALA Midwinter 2016. The Task Force will meet on Saturday evening, January, 9
th from 6:00pm—7:30pm EDT. The room is still to be determined.
