Updated Revision Proposal for the Malay Romanization Table
The Policy and Standards Division of the Library of Congress has received a revision
proposal for the Malay (in Jawi-Arabic script) ALA-LC romanization table from LC's
Jakarta Office. Based on feedback from current users, a couple of additional changes to
the table have been made, and the table has been renamed "Jawi / Pegon romanization
table". The table's name change acknowledges that it covers more than simply the
Malay language.
