Dear colleagues,
Please see email to me below, and attachment. Let me have any suggestions you may have for
a library/archives/bibliography question or questions to include on the proposed new MGSA
website. It seems they want this information asap, of course, so if you could get back to
me by October 25, that would be great. I will collate the responses and get back to _Prof.
Doxiades.
Please note also that I have retired (effective July 31, 2019) from my position as Area
Specialist for Modern Greece and Russia in the European Division of LC. With the Russia
part of the job covered by a worthy successor who started in May, I am currently serving,
on a volunteer basis, for Modern Greek collection development and public service, until a
specialist for Greece can be hired - the process has apparently begun, with a posting
expected by the end of the year. Since I am at LC only one day per week, and can access my
LC email only on-site, please use my personal email to contact me: hale1652(a)yahoo.com or
call/text my cell phone: 202-904-0841
Thanks, best regards to all,

PM EDTSubject: MGSA Questionnaire
Dear Mr Leich,
I believe you were sent by Frank Hess a draft of a questionnaire the MGSA executive board
plans to send out to our members for consultation regarding the redesign of the website.
If you did not receive it I am attaching it below. As the representative of the MGSA
librarians I would appreciate if you had any comments especially since with the redesign
some options become available as for instance for the librarian committee to have
control/stewardship of a bibliographical section for example. We plan to send out the
questionnaire soon so if you have any comments please let me know asap.
All the best
Evdoxios Doxiadis
