5-part Colloquium on Innovative Adaptation to Climate Change at Harvard University
The objective of this Colloquium promoted by the Sustainability Science Program and the David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies is to host experts who bridge research and practice in the field of climate change vulnerability and adaptation. Our goal is to have policy makers and practitioners from various countries discuss how their organization acquires scientific information on climate change and uses this information to craft policy related to adaptation. From the research community we seek to understand how research priorities are defined, to what extent researchers engage with policy makers, and how results are communicated to individuals or organizations outside of academia. Most of our speakers will focus on adaptation in agriculture and forestry.
