ARTS@DRCLAS Spring Concert: A tribute to Brazilian composer and singer Luiz Gonzaga

Known as Gonzagão and the King of Baião, Gonzaga (1912-1989) was one of Brazil's most influential songwriters and singers for about half a century, influencing generations of singers and performers and bringing the popular rhythms of Baião, Forró, Xote, and Xaxado to the forefront of the Brazilian music scene.
