This documentary offers a intimate behind-the-scenes look at
Luiz Inácio "Lula" da Silva's historic 2002 presidential
campaign. Based on 240 hours of exclusive footage taken by Salles' crew
--- which had unprecedented access to the former metalworker from São
Paulo and his family, friends and fellow PT party members --- the
filmmaker reveals a startlingly candid backstage view of a unique modern
politician.
