Welcome to the OCS Pre-Law List for Harvard students and alumni! Announcements relevant to Harvard prelaw students will be posted here on a regular basis. This is a moderated list, maintained by Dena Rakoff, the Pre-Law Career Counselor in the Office of Career Services at Harvard University. If you have announcements or questions for the list, please direct them to drakoff@fas.harvard.edu. If the posting is relevant to most prelaw students, it will be approved and distributed to all list members. If you would ever like to leave this list, you will need to un-subscribe yourself. To do this, see the bottom of this page. To make an appointment with Dena Rakoff or to find out about walk-in hours, please call OCS Reception at 617 495-2595 (option 0). The Reception desk schedules all appointments. Using OCSLaw-List
To post a message to all the list members, send email to ocslaw-list@lists.fas.harvard.edu. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to OCSLaw-List
Subscribe to OCSLaw-List by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
