        * The Yoga Workshop "Build Your Foundation on a Rock" scheduled
          for Saturday, November 7th has been postponed. For additional

        * Harvard Recreation & the Center for Wellness Presents:
          MAINTAIN DON'T GAIN!
              o The Goal: Maintan your pre-holiday weight between
                Thanksgiving and New Years
              o *2 WAYS TO PARTICIPATE*
                    + **1.  Form a team of 4-6 participants, nominate a
                      team captain & complete the online registration
                      form. Your team weighs in at the beginning of the
                      program and weighs out at the end.  Teams with
                      100% participation (everyone weighs in and out)
                      and who collectively maintain their starting team
                      weight (within 6 pounds) will be entered into the
                      prize raffle.
                    + 2.  Do you want to get great tips, recipes and
                      exercise classes, but you're not into the
                      team-thing?  No problem!  You can still
                      participate on your own by following along on the
                      website.  Note: you won't be eligible for prizes,
                      but you'll still get the support you need to
                      maintain your weight over the holidays! 
                    + Team registration is November 9th-16th. Register
                      your team online by downloading the registration
                      form avaialble at:

        * Fall Group Exercise Classes are now in session at the MAC and
          Hemenway Gymnasium. Both schedules are now available online at
          *http://recreation.gocrimson.com/fitness/schedules*

    * *Please note the following dates when GX classes will not be held
      in November:*

                + *_MAC_: *No classes Wednesday, 11/11 or Wednesday
                  11/25-Sunday 11/29. *

                + *_HEMENWAY_: *No classes Wednesday, 11/11 or Thursday,
                  11/26-Sunday, 11/29. *
                  *
                + *HEMENWAY: *On Wednesday, 11/25 only morning classes
                  including 7:00 IC, 7:15am Mat Pilates & 8:30am Vinyasa
                  Yoga will be held at Hemenway. *All GX classes
                  beginning after 11:00am are canceled.

    *  _*Strength Training Orientations:*_ Looking for an efficient
      workout? Sign up for a Strength Training Orientation! A Personal
      Trainer will lead each 45-minute group session will teach you how
      to use the weight machines in the express circuit, along with
      basic use of cardio machines. Each participant will receive a
      strength worksheet. There is a $5.00 fee for the orientation and
      pre-registration is required. Sign up at the front desk at least
      24 hours in advance. Orientations with less than 3 participants
      enrolled with be canceled due to low enrollment.
