headed
Central Asian programing of Radio Liberty broadcasts. He has published
extensively on nationalism and politics in Uzbekistan and other Central
Asian
countries.
Jim Critchlow's presentation will be very informal, with a presentation
on the
political and social factors rooted in Uzbekistan's rich past, which
could move
the country away from its current authoritarianism, as well as the negative
