'In the Heights' creator, Lin-Manuel Miranda, at Harvard on Tuesday, February 28
Tuesday, February 28 at 12 noon: Lin-Manuel Miranda, a 2008 Tony Award winner for Best Score for "In the Heights" (which also won the Tony for Best Musical) and recently the star of the New York Encores! production of "Merrily We Roll Along," will be a special guest at Aesthetic and Interpretive Understanding 31: "American Musicals and American Culture," a course taught by Carol J. Oja, William Powell Mason Professor of Music, which meets in Room 201 at Harvard Hall. Miranda's appearance at Harvard is sponsored by the Program in General Education in association with Learning From Performers (Office for the Arts at Harvard).
Students not enrolled in the course are invited to attend the class. Seating is limited; students must RSVP and present a valid ID for admission.
