Hi Everyone,
A question about citations to course materials (lecture notes, Fox,
Achen, etc.) has come up. As is usually the case, if you make a claim
that is not widely known by non-specialists you should cite the source
for your claim. Use your best judgment here. We aren't going to be
grading you on how well you manage citations, but if you make a claim
that wouldn't be known to be true by a majority of your classmates you
probably want to back it up with a cite.
