The Greek Cinema Club at Harvard cordially invites you to the
screening of the pilot project “Iphigenia Chorus for Modern Greek,” a
collaborative performance piece by the students of Modern Greek A
(Beginner’s level), which promotes a holistic teaching approach to
Modern Greek. It employs the rich concept of the ancient Greek Chorus
based on the Euripidean play "Iphigenia at Aulis” and its screen
adaptation by director Michael Cacoyannis, in order to strengthen all
four language skills (writing, reading, listening and speaking), while
conforming to all National Standards of Foreign Language Education.
