In addition to what has already been suggested:
Poet Olga Broumas (in Massachusetts) has translated Elytis into English (several published
volumes) and also reads aloud in a unique manner. See her audio book:

commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of poet Odysseas Elytis. They are looking
for (a) a scholar who could give a lecture on Elytis, (b) a poet who could do a reading of
selected Elytis poems (in English). Before posting to the general MGSA list, I would like
to gather ideas from you all, please let me know if you have any suggestions. Given the
financial state of both Greece and LC these days, it is doubtful that travel expenses can
be paid.
