The deadline for most of the Fulbright awards in the Russian Federation has been extended until September 17, 2012. I was hoping that you would be willing to encourage your American colleagues who may be interested in taking advantage of the Fulbright Program in Russia to apply.
Below, please see several links that you can pass along to those colleagues who are interested:
1. Open awards in Russia: All Disciplines<http://catalog.cies.org/viewAward.aspx?n=3317>, Community College Faculty Award<http://catalog.cies.org/viewAward.aspx?n=3319>, and Science and Innovation<http://catalog.cies.org/viewAward.aspx?n=3321>
2. Eligibility Requirements<https://admin.imodules.com/admin/www.cies.org/us_scholars/us_awards/Eligibi…>

4. Direct Link to Application for 2013-14<https://apply.embark.com/student/fulbright/usscholars/79/>
If Russia may not be of interest to your colleagues, the All Disciplines<http://catalog.cies.org/viewAward.aspx?n=3220>, American Studies<http://catalog.cies.org/viewAward.aspx?n=3221>, Education<http://catalog.cies.org/viewAward.aspx?n=3222>, and Natural Sciences<http://catalog.cies.org/viewAward.aspx?n=3223> awards in Georgia also remain open until September 17, 2012.
Please note that most of these awards do not require a letter of invitation from a potential host institution. Please have your colleagues contact either me or Mike Worley (mworley(a)iie.org<mailto:mworley@iie.org>) with any questions they have about the application process.
Thank you,
