Hello everyone,
I hope that you all had a relaxing spring break and that the semester is
treating you all well,
On April 2nd we will be hosting our final Senior Common Room dinner of the
year and welcoming Professor Der Manuelian, a professor of Egyptology and
Director of the Harvard Semitic Museum, to join us. His talk, titled
"Visualizing the Pyramids: The Giza Project and 3D approaches to
Archaeology" will share with us the work of Harvard's Giza Project, Digital
Archaeology and their rendering of the Pyramids in Virtual Reality.
The talk will be preceded by a drinks reception in the Graduate Student
Lounge from 5.30 pm and a free three course meal in the Common Room from
6pm.
If you would like to join for the event tickets can be picked up from Jeff
on the 3rd Floor of Dudley House.
More details are available on the poster below and I hope to see many of
you on April 2nd!
All the best,
Hubert
