Position: Paid On Campus Internship - Writing/Marketing/Executive Assistant

We are looking for a motivated, energetic, empathic individual who
has excellent writing, communications and interpersonal skills, loves
to read, is self-directed and eager to learn and is interested in a
career in writing or screenwriting, directing, producing or otherwise
being involved in the entertainment industry.
Hours are weekdays 3-5:30 pm, with some variation possible depending
on class schedule, plus one evening a week.
Responsibilities and benefits may include:
1) TF'ing popular screenwriting seminar.
2) Assisting with on-campus theatrical production.
3)Serving as executive assistant and support person to the head of
the company, reading scripts, writing coverage, assisting with
re-writes, researching story ideas, developing actor and director
lists, researching production companies and financiers, tracking
scripts, participating in script development, managing emails, faxes
and phone calls to agents, managers, producers, investors and
creative attachments, maintaining website, and general office
responsibilities.
Depending on interest and abilities, there is the opportunity to be
mentored on your own script or film project.
The assistant should be self-directed, able to take the initiative,
discover what needs to be done and do it, be willing to create goals
for him or herself and meet them. The ideal person should also be
well-grounded and able to create a warm positive atmosphere. Ability
or willingness to learn tennis, sailing & skiing a plus.
