Dudley Drama & Film presents...
SCREENWRITING FROM THE HEART - OPENING THE DOORS TO HOLLYWOOD
With Nantucket Film Festival Winner Andrew Arthur
Graduate Student Lounge, Dudley House, Harvard University
Wednesday November 17th, 7:30 pm
Free and open to the public
Dynamic, exciting, passionate, funny, dramatic experiences in a
darkened theater begin with a great screenplay.
In the first part of this very popular presentation students will
receive an introduction to the principles and structure of
screenwriting and experience the Inner Journey method of cultivating
creative vision and generating great story ideas.
In the second part of the presentation the focus will be on the
business of screenwriting and how to turn great ideas into saleable
properties. This course is for present and aspiring writers and
screenwriters, directors, producers, cinematographers, and all those
interested in film and the art of storytelling.

UPCOMING EVENTS AT DUDLEY DRAMA/FILM:
1. Friday, November 26. Filmmaker's deadline. Want to make a short
film this year? Dudley Film has basic videomaking and editing equipment
for those who need it. Submit a one-paragraph concept for your film
idea by the deadline to bksun(a)fas.harvard.edu.
2. Wednesday, December 8. Dudley Drama kicks off its
IMPROV/SCENE-STUDY TROUPE. Act, react, and think on your feet! Like
the people on the show "Whose Line is it Anyway?" we'll have fun
improvising to situations and acting out scenes from chosen plays. No
previous acting or improv experience is necessary... and we hope to
make this a group that meets regularly. Come join us, even if you're
just curious...
