Hey, Vipin.
The idea is this: You have OLS regression estimates. You either rejected
or did not reject the null hypothesis. Within a causal framework,
interpret the coefficients and the reject/not reject conclusion. Next,
within a descriptive/associational/conditional-expectation framework,
interpret the coefficients and the reject/not reject conclusion. Finally,
given the substantive content of the question, which of these two
frameworks seems most appropriate here?
