The data center ("home" to me, really) is loaded with R 1.7.1.

is not a multiple of shorter object length in: approval -

Try the 1.8.1 R version (I think some of us, including me till this
morning, use 1.7.1
instead of 1.8.1). You may get the right result! (I found this a few
hours ago...)
