LATE-BREAKING NEWS FOR HARVARD FOOTBALL FANS!
Here we are again ... just like last season, the Harvard football
team is set to square off with Penn in a battle of Ivy unbeatens for
the League championship! This Saturday, November 16th, the Crimson
(6-2 overall, 5-0 Ivy) travels to face Penn (7-1, 6-0 Ivy) at
Franklin Field in Philadelphia for a 12:30 p.m. matchup. The winner
is guaranteed at least a share of the Ivy title.
If you can't make it to the game, here's two pieces of exciting,
late-breaking news for Harvard football fans:
1) It was just announced that the Harvard-Penn game will be televised
live on the YES Network and on Direct TV channel 622 (for anyone with
the Sports Pack subscription).
2) Also just announced ... ESPN's College GameDay show will televise
live from Penn's Franklin Field in Philadelphia this Saturday,
starting at 10:30 a.m. Host Chris Fowler and analysts Lee Corso and
Kirk Herbstreit make up college football's most comprehensive and
authoritative show, with game previews, interviews, features and
predictions. This Saturday marks the first time in the program's
nine-year history that the show will take place on a Division I-AA
campus.
Remember, you can always listen to every Harvard football game on the
radio either on WCRN (830-AM) with Bernie Corbett or the student-run
WHRB (95.3-FM). If you're out of the broadcast coverage area, you can
listen to these radio broadcasts over the Internet. For the WCRN
broadcast, go to
