Good Afternoon,
I would like to thank you all in advance for your hard work bringing our equipment data up-to-date in Equipster over the last few months. I appreciate all your hard work that goes with Equipment Management. Your patience with the system, the sometimes laborious task of entering and assigning assets into Equipster can be frustrating.
Sheila and I have spent an intense amount of time reconciling Equipster to the General Ledger, I am happy to say that we have reconciled all of FY12 and FY13. During this time we have been working with the programmers to make some changes so that we are capturing everything that hits the GL and as of May 22nd, we are closer to that goal than ever before. With that said, there are still some outstanding Equipster data issues - they include wrong dates, some assets remaining on the homepage when they have already been assigned; these issues are being addressed with the programmers.
INVENTORY - DEADLINE is Today, October 15, 2013, some of you have already emailed to report your completion of your inventory and for those who have not, please email me at kcolann(a)fas.harvard.edu<mailto:kcolann@fas.harvard.edu> let me know what is the status of your inventory. If you have been unable to complete it by today, please include where you are at and what your time frame is for completing this required A110 inventory.
The next Equipment Coordinators meeting will be on November 13th, at 2:00pm, location and agenda will be forthcoming.
