Research Workshop in Applied Statistics

This Wednesday, May 3, please join the Applied Statistics Workshop
at 12 noon for a presentation by Ben Hansen, Assistant Professor of
Statistics at the University of Michigan, entitled
"Matching with prognosis scores: A new method of adjustment for
comparative studies."  The corresponding paper is available from the

Lunch will be served at noon, and the presentation will begin at 12:15 PM
in Room N354 of the Institute for Quantitative Social Science, located in
the CGIS Knafel Building at 1737 Cambridge St. (next to the Design
