Research Workshop in Applied Statistics

Please join us this Wednesday, October 18th, at 12 noon for Charles 
Loeffler's presentation, "Is justice Blind? A natural experiment in the 
use of judicial discretion in criminal trials".  The paper for the talk is

Lunch will be served at noon, and the presentation will begin at 12:15 PM 
in Room 354 of the Institute for Quantitative Social Science, located in 
the CGIS Knafel Building at 1737 Cambridge St. (next to the Design
