Please find the following statement regarding Hemenway & Malkin group exercise:
Based on member feedback, we changed the class policy so that we'd hand class passes out 15 minutes before the start of each class, instead of the previous 30 minutes. We tried it today and it didn't work as well as we'd hoped. Therefore we will revert back to handing out class passes 30 minutes before the start of each class WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE 11:30AM AND 12:15 PM CLASSES. WE WILL HAND OUT CLASS PASSES 15 MINUTES BEFORE 11:30 AND 12:15 CLASSES ONLY. This policy will begin Tuesday February 28th.
As many of our participants' schedules seem tightest mid-day, we think it makes the most sense to maintain the 15 minute policy at the lunch hour. Our goal is to give everyone a fair chance to come to the class of their choice, and to be respectful of people's time.

Beginning Monday February 27th group exercise class passes will be handed out FIFTEEN minutes prior to class versus the previous rule of thirty minutes.

PROGRAMS
3 POINT CONTEST
· Please join us at the Mac on February 16th from 10am - 3pm, for a three point contest! Each participant will have two chances to shoot 15 three pointers to advance to a head to head matchup at the Harvard vs. Yale halftime show on February 18th at 7pm. Prizes will be given out to the top two contestants! You must be available for the finals to enter!

DANCE WORKSHOPS

· Upcoming Workshop - Party Rock Shuffle Dance Party - Party Rock is in the house tonight! Choreographer and dancer, Katie Egan breaks down the steps to LMFAO;s "Party Rock Shuffle" in this fun and upbeat class. From beginners to advanced, this class will get you moving. By the end you'll be ready to show off your moves on the dance floor! Monday, March 5th 7:00-8:15pm @ MAC; Fee: $8.00 for facility members/$12.00 for Harvard Affiliate non-facility members. Space is limited. Register at the front desk of Hemenway or the MAC between 2/13 - 3/4 to guarantee your spot. Payment must be made at time of registration. No checks. YOGA WORKSHOPS

· Upcoming Yoga Workshop: Yin Yoga: Yin Yoga targets the deep connective tissues of the body - the tendons, ligaments and cartilage. The practice emphasizes deep release with long holds, which promotes circulation of energy through the meridians (energy channels) of the body. A Yin practice can lubricate joint spaces and increase flexibility, especially in the hips, pelvis and lower spine, which makes for great cross-training for a more active yoga practice or other physical activities. Additionally, Yin yoga is excellent preparation for seated meditation, both physically and mentally. In this workshop, we'll learn some background and principles of Yin Yoga, by bringing awareness to slowing down, going deep, and connecting to our inner voice of guidance: sensation. STRENGTH TRAINING ORIENTATIONS
