This Summer we are offering exciting and education specialty programs including Ballet, Belly Dance, MTV Dance, Dancing with the Stars- Harvard Style, Hip Hop, New Mom's Stroller Fitness, Yin Yoga, Couch to 5K, Yoga for Pain & Injury Relief & MORE! Registration for Summer 2010 specialty classes is now LIVE on our website: http://recreation.gocrimson.com/fitness/specialty_classes STRENGTH CLINICS & ORIENTATIONS Hemenway Gymnasium Strength Clinics: TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO REGISTER! Brand new Strength Clinics are being offered this Summer at Hemenway Gymnasium. Strength Training for Women, Kettlebell Clinic, The Benchpress & Progressive Athletics will run for 4 weeks beginning July 6th. Classes are limited to 3-6 participants allowing each participant to receive individual attention which will allow them to progress each week. *Facility Membership is required* Fee: $80.00 per person per clinic. There is a limit of 6 participants per class, so register early! Registration is June 14th-30th at the front desk of Hemenway. Register for a Strength Training Orientation at the MAC or Hemenway. A Personal Trainer will teach you how to use the weight machines in the express circuit, along with basic use of cardio machines. Orientations are limited to 10 participants. Each participant will receive a strength worksheet. Registration Info: There is a $5.00 fee for the orientation and pre-registration is required. Sign up at the front desk at least 24 hours in advance. Orientations with less than 3 participants enrolled with be canceled due to low enrollment. Aqua Aerobics: Join the 7 week session that begins June 21st! Strengthen your heart and your muscles in the water with a workout that places minimal stress on the joints. Since water provides 12 times the resistance of air, Aqua Aerobics is an excellent way to burn calories and tone muscles simultaneously. This water-fitness program is designed for individuals demanding a high intensity water workout with training benefits for agility, speed, strength, and flexibility with body awareness. This is NOT your mother's aqua aerobics class! 7 week session. This class has 3 different sections. Please choose 1 section for $28, 2 sections for $56, or unlimited for $64. All participants pay the same price, regardless of affiliation.
