GROUP EXERCISE CLASSES
* The Spring 2012 Group Exercise Schedules will run from January 23rd - May 13th. The

* TRUMBA! Now you can view all Recreation Events in one place! Check out our new online

classes, specialty classes, special events & more! This user friendly calendar powered
by Trumba provides many exciting features. You can add events directly to the calendar of
your choice, schedule an email or text alert, invite friends to attend and sign up for
event notification changes. Stay up to date with current offerings by signing up for the
daily digest email. Events can be filtered and viewed by location, instructor, class type,
time, date and more.
* Group Exercise Classes Announcements
- NO Group Exercise classes at either facility on Sunday, April 8 ( Easter
Sunday).
- Reminder - the 6 week 6:15am Indoor Cycling class at Hemenway will end on April
9.
- Nordic Walking Intervals begin Thursday at 12:15pm at Hemenway Gymnasium. Take
your workout outside on your lunch hour! Enjoy some fresh air while you increase strength
and agility as well as cardiovascular endurance with this circuit-style workout. Class
will be canceled due to steady rain.
- Instructor Changes as of April 1st:
o Brian is now teaching Tuesday 7:15 am Indoor Cycling at the MAC & Thursday 7:15
Total Body Conditioning at Hemenway.
o Seth is now teaching Tuesday 12:15 pm Zumba Fit Fusion at the MAC.
o Cathryn is now teaching Friday 7:15am Indoor Cycling at the MAC.
ZUMBA PARTY FOR THE CURE
* Thank you to everyone who took the time to participate and donate to the United
We Dance to Cure ALS Zumbathon. Harvard Recreation raised over $550.00 to support
Augie's Quest in finding a cure for ALS. Pictures are available on the Harvard
Recreation Facebook fan page.

STRENGTH TRAINING ORIENTATIONS
* Want to learn how to use the machines safely and properly? Register for a Strength
Training Orientation at the MAC or Hemenway. Strength Training orientations are 45-minute
sessions, during which members are led through a row of circuit machines by a certified
personal trainer.
