We have an exciting semester ahead, and look forward to seeing you at our
events, outings, and classes. In the fall, we will be offering drawing and
painting classes; swing dance classes; arts outings to concerts, museums,
and theater in Boston; and a diverse array of film screenings.

Our Fall Arts Classes include:
Drawing and painting classes will be taught on Saturdays, 2-4:30pm,
beginning on Sept. 11 in the Dudley House Private Dining Room. $30 for a
six-week session plus cost of materials. Open to beginners and experienced
artists. Class size is limited to 15, so sign up early with Chad in the
House Office, beginning on Thursday, Sept. 2nd. Contact Ivanna Yi (

Swing Dance classes will be taught on Mondays, 7-8:30pm, in the Graduate
Student Lounge. $15 for the whole series or $3 per class. Classes begin with
East Coast swing, move to Lindy Hop and the Charleston, and end with the

Outing to Emmanuel Music

One of H*ä*ndel's most admired works,* Alexander's Feast *is a setting of a
poem by John Dryden written in honor of Saint Cecelia, the patron saint of
music. $10 student tickets available for you and your guests in the House

Outing to Symphony Hall
Thursday, Oct. 21, at 8pm
Don’t miss hearing one of America’s best orchestras and a world-renowned
violinist in a joint performance! The Boston Symphony Orchestra and Pinchas
Zuckerman perform the magnificent Beethoven Violin Concerto; the BSO also
performs Barber’s Overture to *The School for Scandal *and Tchaikovsky’s
Symphony No. 5. $34 for first balcony side seats, close to the stage, first
come first serve. Dudley House members may bring a guest. Sign up with Chad
