Hi Arts enthusiasts!
*Tomorrow (Friday) from 12.30-230pm* we'll be bringing all the Dudley arts
supplies down from the office for a hour or two of creative fun in the
Private Dining Rm (just off the main Dudley dining room).
Come by to relax with some
painting/sticking/cutting/colouring/glittering/chatting/laughing/having
fun. Whether you stop in for five minutes, or stay for the whole two
hours, we're looking forward to seeing you there!

By popular demand, more swing dance classes are being offered this
semester! Classes will be held Oct. 26 - Nov. 16th and taught again by Andy
Greenspon & Gabrielle Blonder. Basics 1 is 7-8pm (no prior experience
required!) and Basics 2 is 8-9pm. There will be open dancing
from 9-9:30pm for those in either class, and if anyone wants some
individual help. All Harvard affiliates are welcome and guests.
Cost is $20 for the whole series of one class if you pre-register in the
Dudley House office (3rd floor of Lehman hall), $25 at the door, or
$7/class for drop-ins. If you register for Basics 2, you can register for
Basics 1 for only $10.
Classes will be in the basement of Richards Hall. If you do not live in one
of the GSAS residence halls (or have any questions), please email
dudleyhouse.arts(a)gmail.com in advance so that someone may let you into the
building (only residents have card access to Richards).
Dear all,
1) Tickets are now on sale for the Boston Ballet's performance of Mahler's
3rd Symphony, which we will be going to see on *Friday October 23rd.* The
performance starts at 7.30pm, and tickets can be purchased at the Dudley
House office, 3rd floor Lehman Hall. This looks like it'll be a really
excellent show, but tickets are limited, so get yours soon!
2) There will be a screening of Casablanca in the Graduate Student Lounge
(Dudley House, 2nd floor) at *7pm tonight*. Come along to enjoy this
classic piece of cinema - drinks and popcorn will be provided!
Hope to see many of you at both these events.
Best wishes,
Oli Marjot
