Do not miss this chance to join us on a trip to hear the Boston Symphony
Orchestra at the beautiful Tanglewood estate in Lenox MA! We will be going
to the All-Beethoven concert on Sunday, August 11 featuring Christian
Zacharias as conductor and pianist. The program consists of the following
Beethoven works:
- Coriolan Overture
- Piano Concerto No. 2
- Symphony No. 6, Pastoral
We will depart from Cambridge at 10:30AM and arrive at Tanglewood at 12:30PM,
two hours before our 2:30PM concert. This gives us time for exploring the
grounds and having lunch (please bring your own). We will depart from
Tanglewood for a return to Cambridge just after 7PM.
Tickets are on sale in the third floor office of Dudley House. Cost is $33
per ticket; Dudley House members may bring a guest. Tickets are for seats
INSIDE the shed (weather is not a problem) and INCLUDE cost of
transportation. Contact Edlyn (edlynlevine(a)fas.harvard.edu) with any
questions.
Dear all,
Due to the rain today, the show is likely to canceled, so we will
reschedule our Shakespeare on the Common outing to tomorrow, same time and
place. For any questions and to RSVP, e-mail dudleyhouse.arts(a)gmail.com.

temptation, trickery, and trouble as they vie for favor with the
high-society Duke... and his debutante daughter. All are drawn into a web
of disguise and secrecy where the last thing anyone wants is for the truth
to surface -- least of all the dog.*

morning after agonies -- the production brings new meaning to the line
"what happens in Milan, stays in Milan..."*
Sorry, part of the location/date in the full details below got deleted in
