*1. NEC Chamber Music: Schubert, Janacek, and Beethoven
8 pm, Monday, May 6
Jordan Hall, New England Conservatory of Music (NEC), Boston*
Join us for an outing to NEC's most popular chamber music series, First
Mondays at Jordan Hall. Hear NEC faculty and alumni, including Grammy
award-winning violist Kim Kashkashian, perform Schubert's songs for viola
and guitar, Janacek's "Intimate letters" string quartet, and
Beethoven's
"Archduke" piano trio. Admission is free and open to all.
Meet us at the front steps of Dudley House at 7:10 pm, or directly at
Jordan Hall at 7:45 pm. Admission is free. Please RSVP to
dudleyhouse.arts(a)gmail.com by May 5, and include where you'd like to meet.
2. *Extra tickets for sale - A Far Cry (rescheduled from February)
1:30 pm, Sunday, May 12*
*Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum*
A Far Cry, the Museum's resident chamber orchestra, will be performing
Shostakovich, Boccherini, and Hearne. This outing, originally scheduled for
February 10, was canceled due to the blizzard. The concert was rescheduled
by the ISG to the date above, but we will no longer be organizing a Dudley
House outing for it due to schedule conflicts.
A few student tickets ($12) are available, however. Please contact Tina Liu
