Dear Arts enthusiasts,
Two reminders about upcoming events at Dudley House:
1. Have you ever considered learning what Martha Graham once called
the fabulous dance of the past one hundred years and the most
beautiful? Now’s your chance! Registration for the spring semester
series of Argentine tango lessons (absolute beginner and intermediate)
opens tomorrow morning at Dudley House. This eight-week series will
run from February 20th - April 17th, Wednesday evenings, at the
Northwest Labs Café. 7-8pm beginner; 8-8:30pm guided práctica for both
levels; 8:30-9:30pm intermediate. See attached PDF for more details.

2. RSVP for an upcoming Arts Film Screening. Join us on a cold
February evening for a charming 2005 French film by Stéphane Brizé.
Delicious refreshments will be served. Please write to to
dudleyhouse.arts(a)gmail.com if you plan on attending so that we have an
idea of how much food and drink to buy.

“Jean-Claude is fifty-one and weary. Since his divorce, he has been
leading a lonely, cheerless life. His job does not help him. Indeed,
as a "huissier de justice," his everyday task consists in bringing
despair into the homes of those who can't pay their rent, announcing
eviction and/or property seizure. His depressing Sunday afternoons are
invariably spent in the retirement home of his old father, a sour,
never-satisfied pain in the neck. A glimmer of hope comes from the
dance studio across his office. One day, Jean-Claude decides to
enroll; there, he meets the charming Françoise. The only trouble is
that she’s about to get married.” –imdb.com
