may receive an email sometime this week regarding your purchase. This is an automatically
generated message that simply indicates that your membership has been activated on your
ID. It does not mean that you have been charged any additional fees for your membership.

PROGRAMS
Specialty Class Updates: Yin Yoga has been canceled for this semester. We apologize for
the inconvenience.
MTV Dance has been added to the Fall line-up! The class will run for 6 weeks on Thursdays
4:00-4:55pm at Hemenway beginning October 14th.

Strength Clinics
NEW Strength Clinics have just been added to the Fall line-up at Hemenway Gymnasium.
Strength Training for Women, Kettlebell Clinic, The Benchpress & Progressive Power
Lifting will run for 6 weeks beginning October 4th. Classes are limited to 3-6
participants allowing each participant to receive individual attention which will allow
them to progress each week. *Facility Membership is required* Fee: $120.00 per person per
clinic.

Basic Strength Training Orientations
Looking for an efficient workout? Want to learn how to use the machines safely and
properly? Register for a Strength Training Orientation at the MAC or Hemenway. Strength
Training orientations are 45-minute sessions, during which members are led through a row
of circuit
machines by a certified personal trainer. During the Basic STO, members will be provided
with a list of the circuit machines along with information on technique, moderation,
progression, and machine adjustments. Please note that these are not customized personal
training sessions. Members will not be shown how to use dumbbells or cable machines, and
will not be exercising during the STO.

FALL RECREATION EVENTS
Back 2 School Bootcamp: Need to jumpstart your Fall Semester exercise routine?
Back to School Bootcamp is perfect for anyone at any level of fitness experience, and its
free!
This special event will be broken into 3 sections all packed into 1 educational and fun
hour!
First the MAC trainers will coach you through a 40 minute circuit style routine guaranteed
to get you on the right track with your fitness routine this semester. Next, the trainer
will lead a Q & A session where participants will have the opportunity to ask their
burning fitness related questions. At the end the trainers will demonstrate recovery
techniques using the foam roller. All participants will receive a hand out outlining the
circuit.

Support The Breast Cancer Research Foundation Workout to help fight
breast cancer at our 4th Annual Pilates for Pink Charity Class!
Details: Wednesday, October 13th
Time: Check in is 6:30-6:50pm the workout is 7:00-7:55pm

Online registration is September 20th-October 12th
A $10.00 donation is suggested per person. You will receive a raffle ticket for every
$10.00 you donate. Raffle prizes include recreation vouchers, 1-1 personal training or
private pilates session, massage, Lululemon clothing and much MORE!! Pre-registration is
