Watercolors: Perspective (with Practice!) at the Museum of Fine Arts
Sunday, Oct. 16 1:30-4pm
Museum of Fine Arts: 465 Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA
Join us for an afternoon of watercolors! We will begin by attending the Gallery Talk on
the Around the World in Watercolor, 1860-1920 exhibit at the Museum of Fine Arts,
featuring “work by Americans who sought adventure and inspiration for their art. They
ventured across the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans and traversed the American continent.” We
will pay special attention to use of colors and composition as we view the collection.
Then we will have a short studio art workshop to use fall colors as inspiration for
watercolors of our own. Open to Dudley House members and their guests. Admission to the
MFA is free with your Harvard ID. There is no cost to attend this event, but RSVP is
required at
