We've got a few spaces available to donate at our spring blood drive for
Mount Auburn Hospital. It's quick and easy and it can make all the

Walk for Hunger
Sunday Morning, May 1

Join Dudley Public Service and your friends and colleagues on Sunday, May 1
as we take part in the annual Project Bread Walk for Hunger. It's the
perfect way to enjoy a spring morning with friends while helping to raise
funds for emergency food programs throughout Massachusetts. Walk as much as
you want, up to 20 miles for the full course. To join our graduate student

Dudley House Steps
Celebrate Earth Day weekend by helping to restore the banks of the beautiful
Charles River. Teams from all over Boston will be cleaning up the outdoors,
and we will be responsible for an area right near Harvard.
Meet at the Dudley House Steps where we will provide cleanup tools and event
T-shirts. Free lunch and entertainment to follow.

Visiting the Elderly
Sunday morning, April 24
Northeastern University, Stetson Hall West
Little Brothers-Friends of the Elderly is a non-profit, volunteer-based
organizations committed to relieving isolation and loneliness among the
elderly. As part of the Holiday Visitation Program, LittleBrothers-Friends
of the Elderly makes visits to over 300 of our Elder Friends on Easter who
are without family to celebrate the holiday. Our Visiting Volunteers bring
with them a hot meal, a bouquet of fresh flowers, a bottle of sparkling
cider, and most importantly, the gift of companionship. *We have our
Visiting Volunteers pick up these items at Northeastern University’s Stetson
Hall West between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm on Easter Sunday, April 24th. *At
that time we will assign volunteers an elder in a neighborhood of Boston. We
ask volunteers to spend approximately one hour with the elderly friend.
Volunteers may visit in pairs and a car is not necessary.

Project Bread Walk for Hunger

Combat hunger in Massachusetts by joining fellow graduate students in the
Project Bread Walk for Hunger. It's the perfect way to enjoy a spring
morning with friends while getting some exercise and helping the needy. Sign
up for the Dudley House team by registering at projectbread.org. Just click
on the Walk for Hunger logo; register to walk; join a walk team; and select
the "Dudley House" team. Then ask you friends, family, and coworkers to make
a donation to support us in our quest to help the hungry.
