Now that spring has arrived, we are anticipating even more wellness events.
Please come and join us to explore the science of meditation and learn
about Koru Mindfulness! Here are the details about these events:

We decided to dedicate the month of April to Mindfulness!
In addition to our weekly meditation, we are inviting
Suzanne Westbrook from HUHS to explain the nuts and bolts of meditation and
mindful lifestyle!
Refreshments will be provided
*Four-week Koru Mindfulness Course*
Date: Every Thursday from April 2 to April 24, 2015, 2:00pm to 3:15pm
As part of the Wellness Series we are offering a four-week introduction to
mindfulness course in collaboration with the HUHS. The course will be
taught by Jeanne Mahon, the Director of the Center for Wellness.

Mindfulness is about developing the ability to be fully attentive to all of
the moments of your life, reducing the amount of time you spend worrying
about the future or fretting about the past.
You will learn several skills, including meditation, breathing exercises,
guided imagery, the body scan and more. Attendance at all four weeks is
required.
