*Cadbury Commons Independent and Assisted Living is looking for students to
present their research in April*
>From Brian Bunnell, director of Enrichment Programs:
"For whatever reason, a large percentage of our roughly 75 residents are
highly educated, and were pretty successful in their independent years.
They remain hungry for stimulating discussion with smart people. They
would love it if any graduate or PhD students wanted to volunteer some of
their time and come over for a 45-75 minute presentation on their field of
study. It could be a formal multimedia presentation or an informal chat,
whatever the presenter is more comfortable with. Of course, a large part
of the audience would not be experts on the subject matter but would have
curious minds, so more of an introductory theme would be best.
Cadbury Commons is at 66 Sherman Street. If walking (or driving) from
Harvard Square, one would go straight out Garden Street, past Longy School
of Music, and at the 5-way stop where the fire house is take the soft right
turn (the 1:00 direction, to visualize a clock) onto Sherman Street.
Cadbury Commons is on the right-hand side, just past the former Masse's
Hardware. It is a 30-minute walk, or a 5-minute drive."
