Thanks to the generosity and community spirit of the Harvard-MIT Cooperative
Society (The Coop), Harvard graduate students have an opportunity to receive
funding for theircommunity service projects through Dudley Public Service.These
grants will fund community service projects organized by Harvard Graduate
students. Students from any of the graduate and professional programs (GSAS,
HLS, KSG, HMS, GSE, etc.) are eligible to apply for a grant. Application

An informational Session will be held at 7:30pm, Oct 7 in the Dudley
House Common
Room. Past winners will present their work and we will be available to help
you get started on your grants. Food and Refreshments will be served.

We need volunteer scientists to run a booth at the Science Club for Girls
Reverse Science Fair. This event will be held on Saturday, Oct 9, 10am-12pm
at Northeastern University. This free event allows adults to present to
girls from K2-6th grade and their families. The girls get hands on
experience with science through fun and engaging activities.
We need several teams to present at our Dudley House booth. You and your
teammates will be responsible for creating and displaying a 10-minute
hands-on activity. This activity will be repeated several times during the
day so make sure you bring enough supplies! Please email

Dudley Knitting is holding a series of knit/crochet lessons to benefit the
Pine Street Inn Knit-A-Thon this fall! Come learn how to crochet on Tuesday
night – all tools and materials provided free of charge for anyone making
squares to donate for the Knit-A-Thon. For more information, see

about? Take the first steps toward action and write a letter calling for
change. We can provide resources to contact your elected representatives,
foreign governments, or newspapers. Meet in the Dudley house computer lab in
the basement.

Come join Team Dudley as we walk through Boston to raise money to fight Breast
Cancer. To register with our team (Dudley Public Service) or to donate

event, you can walk any distance from 2 miles to 6.5 miles. Come along and
bring your friends!
